On this walk, you’ll learn lots of interesting facts about Styria’s “green gold.” This loop trail begins in the center of Bad Gams, following the trail of the “green gold.”

Along the loop trail, you’ll find many informational signs about pumpkins and pumpkin seed oil, a traditional oil mill, and a herb garden. Just follow the wine-red and white signs marked “Pumpkin Loop Trail.”

Coming from Graz on the A9, take the Lieboch exit. Then follow the B76 to Bad Gams.
The parking lot is located between the former municipal office and the kindergarten.

Der Spazierrundweg startet im Kurpark von Bad Gams Richtung Gesundheitshotel MR. Dr. Kipper. Hier gibt es auch die berühmte Trinkhalle mit 3 verschiedenen Quellen zum Probieren. Danach biegen wir links zum Dorfhotel Fernblick ab. Hier erwartet uns ein Schau-Kräutergarten. Nach vielen interessanten Anekdoten spazieren wir weiter bis zum Brabekhaus, ein altes Weberhaus. Hier biegen wir wieder links ab bis zum Wegkreuz und überqueren die Gemeindestraße. Weiter geht es bis zum Ortsteil Furth mit der Weberei Strunz und die Bad Gamser Keramik. Unser nächstes Ziel ist die bäuerlichen Kernölmühle und Schilcherkeller Farmer-Rabensteiner vlg. Graf. Die Familie gibt gerne Einblicke in ihre Kernölmühle und wir können zu sehen wir das grüne Gold der Steiermark verarbeitet wird. Weiter wandern wir vorbei an der Furthner Kapelle, dann biegen wir links ab und gehen entlang des Gamsbaches zurück ins Ortszentrum zum Gasthaus Kirchenwirt Nabernik.
