A leisurely stroll leads around the market town of Leutschach on the Wine Route, with numerous points of interest for the whole family.

The short local loop can be started at the parking lot by the town hall and leads almost exclusively along paved roads. The path heads towards the Leutschach outdoor swimming pool and past hop fields to the Leutschach Brewery. There's also a hop museum here! From the brewery, the route continues towards Rosenberg, a fantastic viewpoint with a "wireless TV" in the vineyard. Descending the hill and passing Tscheppe's Lang Inn, you'll reach the main square again through "Little Italy," a very narrow alleyway. The route offers playgrounds for children, beer from the local brewery for all beer lovers, and magnificent views.

Coming from Graz via the A9, then take the Vogau-Straß exit. Follow the B79 until you reach Ehrenhausen-Gamlitz-Leutschach.

Der Weg führt über befestigte Straßen, über Wiesen und einen Weingartenweg.

Die kleine Ortsrunde kann beim Parkplatz am Rathaus gestartet werden. Von hier aus geht es Richtung Freibad Leutschach, und vorbei an Hopfenäckern zur Brauerei Leutschach. Hier befindet sich auch ein Hopfenmuseum! Von der Brauerei aus geht’s auch schon Richtung Rosenberg, ein toller Aussichtspunkt mit „Kabellosem Fernseher“ im Weingarten. Den Berg hinunter und vorbei an Tscheppes Lang-Gasthof kommt man noch doch das „kleine Italien“, eine sehr schmale Gasse, wieder retour auf den Hauptplatz.

Leutschach is not only a wine-growing region but also a hop-growing area. Visit the brewery and sample their delicious selection of beers!

For a relaxed and sustainable journey, we recommend travelling by bus and train wherever possible. Depending on the region, additional local transport options are available.
