Hike past traditional and modern wineries with close ties to the landscape and regional building culture.

Contemporary winegrowing architecture, alongside beautifully revitalized traditional buildings, defines the landscape here. The ways in which vineyards have been cultivated for generations and long-standing customs are still evident. Nevertheless, this region has become noticeably younger in recent years, more exciting, more vibrant… The route leads from Leutschach over the Schlossberg to Pößnitz and back, passing not only first-class wineries but also remarkable examples of regional architecture. Whether traditional or modern, these buildings, which embody the character and identity of the South Styrian Wine Road, are united by their connection to the landscape. The route takes you along forest and meadow paths, through vineyards, and along paved roads.

Von Graz kommend über die A9, danach die Ausfahrt Vogau-Straß nehmen. Die B79 folgt bis nach Ehrenhausen-Gamlitz-Leutschach.

Der Weg führt über Wald- und Wiesenwege, durch Weingärten und entlang befestigter Straßen.
