A short, leisurely walk before or after a delicious snack at a wine tavern, which is also ideal for children.

Start at the Krainerhof and take the GenussSchilchern Weg north-westwards. In Puxhof, follow the S2a hiking trail through the Herunter dairy farm to the edge of the forest, then walk along the S2 trail past the fallow deer enclosure to the hilltop. Here, turn left and head down to the S1, S4 and S06. Follow the markings to the right across the footbridge up to the primary school. Keep left here and follow the S4 path past the secondary school to the Klug joinery. There, keep left and after a few steps, turn right into the woods across the footbridge to the road. At the crossroads, turn left onto Stockaner Straße and after about 100 metres you will be back at the starting point.
Here you can treat yourself to a drink at the Krainerhof wine tavern or in the café. What animals can you spot on this walk? Enjoy this short tour.

From Graz, continue on the A2 towards Klagenfurt and take the Lieboch exit towards Stainz/Deutschlandsberg/Eibiswald. Follow the B76 to Deutschlandsberg/Stainz/St. Stefan ob Stainz.

Start ist beim Krainerhof. Wir nehmen den GenussSchilchern Weg in nordwestlicher Richtung. In Puxhof gehen wir auf dem Wanderweg S2a durch den Milchbauernhof Herunter bis zum Waldrand, wandern auf dem Weg S2 vorbei am Damwild-Gehege bis zur Kuppe. Hier gehen wir links hinunter bis zum S1, S4, 06. Wir marschieren rechts der Markierung entlang über den Steg hinauf bis zur Volksschule. Hier halten wir uns links und gehen auf dem Weg S4 vorbei an der Mittelschule bis zur Tischlerei Klug. Dort halten wir uns links und gehen nach einigen Schritten rechts in den Wald über den Steg zur Straße. Beim Kreuz biegen wir links in die Stockaner Straße ein und sind nach ca. 100 m wieder beim Ausgangpunkt angelangt. Hier können wir uns am Krainerhof im Buschenschank oder im Café verwöhnen lassen.

Beim Milchbauernhof Herunter gibt es auch Westernpferde zu bestaunen.
