This route leads through forests, meadows and vineyards and offers beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards.

From the Gamlitz sports field, walk downstream along the Gamlitzbach stream and after 150 meters turn onto Retzneierstraße. Follow the path to the ridge. From there, continue along the Grubtaler Höhenstraße to the Muster winery. The trail leads alternately through vineyards and forest and ends back at the sports field via the parish vineyard.
A short, pleasant loop with beautiful views of nature and the wine country awaits you!

Coming from Graz, take the A9 motorway, then take the Vogau exit. Continue on the B69 towards Ehrenhausen until you reach Gamlitz.

From the sports field, walk along the Gamlitzbach stream and after 150 meters turn into Retzneierstraße and follow the path to the ridge. From there along the Grubtaler Höhenstraße to the winery Muster - alternating through vineyards and forest via the Pfarrweingarten back to the sports field. Variant 2a possible: connection via Buschenschank Muster (former Gnaser) & Weinkulinarium Tscheppe Kapun.

Many starting points for our hikes in southern Styria can also be reached by public transport.

For a relaxed and sustainable journey, we recommend travelling by bus and train wherever possible. Depending on the region, additional local transport options are available.
