This short loop is perfect for a short hike with children.

The starting point is Neuer Markt in Ehrenhausen. From there, head toward the train station and walk along the Mur River to Retznei. Once in Retznei, follow the road to the Retznei Mountain Pool and return to Ehrenhausen via a forest path and Weinleiten Street. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle—just in case! And remember to pack your swimsuit for the pool in Retznei.

Coming from Graz via the A9, take the Vogau exit. Follow the B69 to Ehrenhausen.

Der Weg führt über befestigte Straßen, Wald- und Wiesenwege.

Die Wanderung ist in Beide Richtungen zu begehen. Vom Ortszentrum Ehrenhausen gehen wir Richtung Bahnhof, und dort nach dem Bahnübergang linkerhand der Mur entlang nach Retznei. Im Ort Retznei geht’s der Straße entlang wieder links zum Bergbad Retznei. Von dort kommt man über einen Waldweg und die Weinleiten-Straße nach Ehrenhausen retour.
