A perfect walk that combines the beauty of nature with the tranquillity of the countryside.

Start your walk at the main square in Bad Schwanberg and head east. After a few steps, you’ll reach the pharmacy, where you turn left onto Mainsdorfer Straße. You’ll pass the secondary school and turn left onto Waldstraße. This picturesque road leads you gently uphill across the slopes and foothills of the Koralm. Take your time to enjoy the breathtaking view of the lush green orchards and vineyards – a real feast for the eyes! Once you reach the top of Bergstraße, turn left again and follow the road downhill. Keep to the left and cross picturesque meadows and gardens. Soon after, you will cross the Bergstraße again. This will take you back to Mainsdorfer Straße, which eventually leads you back to the main square in Bad Schwanberg.

Coming from Graz via the A9, take the A2 towards Klagenfurt at the Graz-West motorway junction. Take the Lieboch exit and follow the B76 towards Lannach-Deutschlandsberg-Bad-Schwanberg.

Many starting points for our hikes in southern Styria can also be reached by public transport.
