Meeting point at Gralla Reservoir, then various wetland areas.

Introduction to Birdwatching and
Bird Photography
3 Full-Day Courses:

€ 70.- per person, including snacks and coffee.
Program (weather-dependent!):
Morning: Gralla Reservoir (introduction, binoculars, spotting scopes, identification books, water birds, …)
Drive to my seminar room in Pössnitz 172, Leutschach.
Multimedia presentation: “Discovering Local Birds.”
Lunch at Sabathihof (not included in the price).
Afternoon: Coffee.
Bird Photography. Identification exercises in the seminar room:
Body parts, plumage characteristics, behavior, bird systematics,
the most important families. Identification by size, beak, legs, marks, flight patterns, ...Observation tour in the surroundings.
Recognizing bird calls: Exercises with images and audio material in the seminar room.
Additional topics: Bird migration, bird feeding, camouflage, bird conservation, …
Nature Photography
3 Full-Day Courses:
Sat., June 24, Sat., August 5, Sun., September 10. € 70.- per person, including snacks and coffee.
Program:
Photo hikes and studio work: image editing on PC, image discussions, basic functions and configuration of the camera, image composition, personal advice on technical and design issues. Lunch at Sabathihof (not included in the price).
