Wandern am Nationalfeiertag

A hiking tour of about twelve kilometers takes place on the national holiday, starting from St. Katharina in the Wiel, passing several stations and the Sulm Waterfall, and returning to the village square.
On Monday, October 26, 2026, the Healthy Community Wies, together with the market community Wies, invites you to hike on National Day. The start is at 9 a.m. at the village square in St. Katharina in the Wiel.
The approximately twelve kilometer long hiking route leads from the village square over Hansbauer, Koch vlg. Winkler, and a refreshment station at Biohof Deschlitz / Beate Grebien further to Grill vlg. Kochsima and to the Sulm Waterfall. Afterwards, the route continues through Krenn vlg. Valenti and Koch’s Beeren vlg. Roder back to the village square.
A walking time of about four hours is planned for the entire route. The hike is not fully stroller accessible.
