The Return of the Nervous Age
The renowned contemporary historian and bestselling author Univ.Prof. DDr. Oliver Rathkolb analyzes the causes of this global nervousness and draws parallels between the present and the era before the First World War – the phases of the first and second "turboglobalization." Just like then, geopolitical upheavals, economic upheavals, and technological innovations overwhelm societies and political elites today.
