Treffen der Dudelsack- und Drehleierspieler

From Friday, October 2, to Sunday, October 4, 2026, the meeting of bagpipe and hurdy-gurdy players will take place at Castle Limberg in Bad Schwanberg. The focus will be on drone-playing courses for beginners and advanced players with different instruments.

The course will be led by Sepp Pichler with bagpipe for advanced players. Other courses will be conducted by Thomas Rezanka with bagpipe for beginners, Helmut Eberl with hurdy-gurdy for advanced players, Andrea Skala with bock for advanced players, Nupi Jenner with hurdy-gurdy for beginners, Anna Barbara Wagner-Pichler with hümmelchen for advanced players, and Simon Wascher with hurdy-gurdy for advanced players.

The meeting starts on Friday at 7:15 p.m. and ends on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.

The course fee is 130 euros for members and 150 euros regular. At Castle Limberg, there is an option for full board in a shared room with triple or quadruple occupancy for 55 euros per person and night. An additional charge of 12 euros will be applied for bed linen. Only overnight stays or meals are also possible. Accommodation will be reserved together with the course registration and paid on site.
