A special kind of musical journey around the world awaits the audience on November 26 at the Old Monastery School: SALTERINA invites you to a varied concert evening under the title „In 80 Tönen um die Welt“.
The focus is on the hammered dulcimer – an instrument that the trained musician Ulrike Knapp-Korb-Weidenheim brings to life with great versatility. With SALTERINA, she impressively demonstrates that the hammered dulcimer has much more to offer than traditional folk music. The musical spectrum ranges from folk and baroque music to world and pop music.
In “Around the World in 80 Tones,” the audience is taken on a sonorous journey through different countries, styles, and musical worlds. Familiar melodies encounter surprising sounds, showcasing the fascinating versatility of the hammered dulcimer.
An evening for listening, discovering, and enjoying – a small world tour for which no suitcase is needed.
