21 wineries from Styria and Slovenia at the tasting event in Schloss Seggau

The event “Rarities, Vineyards, and Winemaker Sekt” takes place for the 4th time this year in the Bishop's Wine Cellar at Schloss Seggau! On November 14, 2026, 21 winemakers from the region and neighboring Slovenia invite you to taste their very special wines! Selected old wines are being brought along by “Weinsteirer” Holger Massner. DJ Ted Funke ensures a great atmosphere, while the pop-up bar APERITIVO provides Italian cuisine.

“Rarities, Vineyards, and Winemaker Sekt” will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, for the 4th time in the beautiful wine cellar of Schloss Seggau. The best vineyard wines, rarest drops, and outstanding sekt from the winemakers will be showcased and made experienceable in an open tasting. The participating wineries come from the South Styria region as well as from neighboring Slovenia. Cross-border exchange is at the center of attention.

This time, 21 wineries are participating in the event: Assigal, Hirschmugl, Karl und Petra Menhart, Tuscher, Schulter, Kästenburg, Masser, Silberberg, Rabusella, Schloss Seggau, Dveri Pax, Valdhuber, Leber Hiša Vina, Radgonske Gorice, Gross, Vina Oskar, Klet Sanctum, Klet Meum, Vina Steyer, Vina Gjerkeš, and Salon Sauvignon.

Additionally, “Weinsteirer” Holger Massner is bringing along his special old wines for tasting again – here you can look forward to true rarities!

APERITIVO – the Italian-Styrian pop-up bar – ensures culinary delights with its focaccia station. DJ Ted Funke will provide the music for a cheerful atmosphere.

Start is at 4:00 p.m., end of the tasting is at 9:00 p.m.
