Laughter that Connects: Christian Cabaret Comes to the Region
With “Out of the Blue – With the Church Around the Cross,” the audience can expect a special highlight: The two cabaret artists Oliver Hochkofler and Imo Trojan bring an equally humorous and inspiring program to the stage. Their Christian feel-good cabaret combines wit, music, and depth – inviting everyone to experience the church from an unusual perspective.
In varied sketches, parodies of prominent personalities, and original artistic figures, the artists address themes related to faith, the Bible, and church history. They succeed in creating a rare mix: pointed entertainment that provokes both laughter and reflection. The program explicitly sees itself as a bridge – for both engaged Christians and for people who view the church more from a distance.
Since autumn 2025, Hochkofler and Trojan have been touring across Austria with their program, delighting their audiences with sophisticated humor that is never hurtful but always appreciative. “It is simply wonderful when we can laugh about ourselves.”
Visitors can look forward to an entertaining evening full of good cheer – with surprising insights, musical performances, and many “Aha” moments. A cabaret that connects, breaks down prejudices, and shows: faith and humor do not exclude each other – quite the opposite.
