At Night in the Province – a film by David Lapuch
When night falls in the Styrian province, things sometimes go a little out of order ...
The Graz director David Lapuch tells two extraordinary stories in his film "At Night in the Province" about people at turning points in their lives. With subtle humor, a touch of melancholy, and a deep understanding of rural life, he creates a special love letter to Styria.
While sausage stand operator Richard searches for a runaway horse together with a young woman, pizza delivery girl Anna wants to finally leave her hometown after her last night shift. But the night has many surprises in store for both of them.
Maria Hofstätter narrates the film, which features a high-caliber Austrian acting ensemble. The suitable soundtrack is provided by Styrian songwriter Paul Plut.
A special highlight: The film team will be personally present at the screening!
