Lesung: Kurt Palm
Kurt Palm, known for the TV production "Phettbergs Nette Leit Show," author of numerous books such as the cult book "Bad Fucking" and most recently the novel "Trockenes Feld" (2024).
During his reading at the Greith Haus, he will present excerpts from his books, as well as a text about the region that was created during his stay. The reading will be musically accompanied by Les Machines Molles.
Kurt Palm, born in 1955 in Vöcklabruck, lives as an author and director in Vienna. Palm became known with the acclaimed TV production "Phettbergs Nette Leit Show" (1994-96). His bestseller "Bad Fucking" (Residenz 2010) was awarded the Friedrich Glauser Prize for the best German-language crime novel of the year in 2011 and was also successful as a film. Most recently, his novel "Der Hai im System" (Leykam 2022), which received the Leo Perutz Prize, and his novel "Trockenes Feld" (Leykam 2024) were published.
Les Machines Molles
Wolfgang Pollanz has always moved between literature and music. Besides his work as a writer, he was musically active early on with The Isolierband. With his studio project Les Machines Molles, he has released a series of records with his own songs in recent years.
