The notorious Conversation Lab of the renowned Swiss drummer Florian Arbenz brings together musicians from different generations and genres for spontaneous methodological exegeses of handpicked compositions. This time, with João Barradas, Greg Osby, and François Moutin, an unusually composed quartet full of openness, joy of playing, and sonic finesse is cooking. The journey goes from powerful swing to intimate improvisations and enchanted soundscapes.

Its name is program: galactic, universal, absurd, rapid, and ruthlessly opulent. The Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra has stood for innovative orchestral music between Sun Ra, Pierre Boulez, and summer thunderstorms for 20 years. Its music is highly contrasting, experimental, and at times recklessly fast.

Anyone who still can't imagine how big band jazz from the 50s can work with video game soundtracks should not miss a concert of this fearless, dissonant German sound body, a call sign.
