Hollenegger Advent

Every year, not only does the Christ Child come, but also the Advent market around the former horse stable of Hollenegg Castle. The market, which traditionally takes place on the first weekend of Advent, has been marking the beginning of the Advent season in a festive way for many years.
Numerous exhibitors give visitors the opportunity to view and purchase their handcrafted products. Among those represented are carvers and ceramicists. Some exhibitors also demonstrate to visitors on-site the steps necessary to create their products. Thus, cribs and figures can be crafted from "Woazlaschen," intricate handicrafts are created with the help of bobbins and knitting needles, and elaborately designed icons are painted.
Happy children can be found in the Christmas craft studio. Under expert guidance, festive gifts can be created and purchased.

In addition to the exhibition of handcrafted products, the Hollenegg Advent market also caters to physical well-being. In the Advent village, at the front of the horse stable, local businesses provide guests with food and drink. The castle café in the cultural hall also invites guests to linger over coffee and homemade pastries.
