As part of the anniversary program for "100 Years of the City of Deutschlandsberg," the first Häfnrock "of modern times" took place on June 30, 2018, in Kirchengasse, organized by Christoph Koch, Bernd Sackl, and Peter Michelitsch.
Since then, it has become an indispensable part of the summer concert program in Deutschlandsberg.

The alternative music scene in Deutschlandsberg, or the so-called "Häf’n Rock," whose name is derived from the rehearsal rooms in the prison cells of the district court, emerged in the late 1970s.

The Kirchengasse is once again transforming into a stage for handcrafted, authentic music.

Starting at 4:00 p.m., various bands will make the street come alive.

With the fundamental idea of providing a strong live platform for local musicians from the "Häf’n family" of yesteryear, Häfn’Rock strikes just the right note again.
