Golf, Styrian wine, and culinary delights merge at the Golf & Wine event at Golfclub Gut Murstätten into a special experience of indulgence featuring wine tastings, a golf tournament, and a festive evening program.
On September 18, 2026, Golf & Wine at Golfclub Gut Murstätten in Lebring combines sporty elegance with Styria's wine culture and high-quality cuisine. Under the motto “Wine maturity instead of course maturity,” an extraordinary event format centered around golf, wine, and enjoyment is on the program.
During the round of golf, selected winemakers will showcase their wines directly on the golf course. Tastings and knowledge questions about wine, grape varieties, origin, and sensory perception turn the round into a varied experience of enjoyment. Successful participants can receive the wine maturity certificate during the evening event.
A special highlight is the selection of Austrian golf wine. Around 300 wines from nearly 100 wineries were tasted in advance and evaluated by expert juries. The award-winning wines will be presented at the gala evening following the Golf & Wine – Styrian Wine Open.
The culinary conclusion is an exclusive dinner at Golfclub Gut Murstätten. Thus, the event unites golf sports, Styria's wine culture, cuisine, and encounters at a unique location in Styria.
