Traditional festival at Glitzalm with a holy mass, regional cuisine, and music amidst idyllic mountain scenery.
On August 15, 2026, the Glitzalm will once again transform into an atmospheric festival stage. Following the Holy Mass including the blessing of herbs at 11:00 a.m., the traditional mountain festival will begin at 12:00 p.m. with culinary specialties and musical entertainment by the Bergland Trio. The Glitzalm is only accessible on foot – either in about one hour via Wirtbartl or in around 1.5 hours via Jagawirt. A festival for the whole family in a magnificent natural setting.
