We are celebrating 50 years!
Festival for the Pumpkin
50 years of Pumpkin Wies are 50 years of committed and consistent cultural work in rural areas. From a theater project of young people emerged a multi-genre organization that has an impact far beyond the region for theater, literature (Edition Pumpkin), music (pumpkin records) and visual arts.
Art and culture produced, organized, and shared with countless people. Together with its members, partners from clubs, institutions, educational establishments, business, and politics, the pumpkin was able to grow and conquer cultural spaces. Vacant or unused buildings were transformed into vibrant cultural venues such as the Theater im Kürbis, the Schlosstenne Burgstall, the Atelier im Schwimmbad, and the Galerie im Pfarrzentrum. This is worth celebrating, and we warmly invite you!
Program
Starting at 5 p.m., a photo chronicle will look back at the Rathauspark. From there, the "pumpkin-records-allstars-band" will lead to the studio in the swimming pool, where theatrical surprises, Wies incidents from a literary perspective, and artistic interventions await. The evening will be rounded off with words on the pumpkin from Heidrun Primas and other honored guests, before a pumpkin records DJ set accompanies the evening.
5.00 p.m. Arrival and opening of the photo chronicle in Rathauspark

6.00 p.m. Program in and around the studio in the swimming pool from all four disciplines
