Sa., 10.10.2026 from 18:00 o'clock
Poetry, music, and strong emotions merge into a special concert experience full of romance and expressiveness.
With “The Beautiful Magelone”, the audience can expect an impressive musical-literary evening featuring works by Johannes Brahms based on the story by Ludwig Tieck.
The tenor Ted Black, engaged at the Graz Opera, interprets the expressive songs with great vocal expressiveness. The concert is complemented by the sensitive recitations of Peter Baran, who brings the story to life between the musical contributions. At the piano, Stefan Birnhuber, répétiteur and conductor at the Graz Opera, accompanies the two artists with fine intuition and musical brilliance.
Look forward to an atmospheric evening where music and literature merge into a touching unity, and the romantic tale of love, longing, and adventure becomes impressively palpable.
