The South Tyrolean songwriter and his wife, the violinist Claudia Fenzl from Vienna, are back "On the Road"!
Dominik Plangger, who has already shared the stage with greats like Gaby Moreno, Pippo Pollina, and Allan Taylor, spent several months at number 1 on the German charts with his recent albums “Ansichtshalber” and “Limes” and has gained attention all the way to the USA (Woody Guthrie's daughter Nora praised his German rendition of the song “Deportee”).
Inspired equally by the big Italian cantautori and by British and American singer-songwriters and folk legends, the duo has created their very own sound. Emotional and compelling songs in German, Italian, and dialect.
At their concerts, the two captivate not only with powerful, beautiful voices and virtuosic fiddletunes but also entertain with wit and charm.
