Aniada a Noar und Tringa Sadiku: "Plot Hare - Voller Freude"

Fr., 18.12.2026 from 19:30 o'clock

Crossover Christmas Concert

Aniada a Noar venture into unknown realms. They seek the encounter with the mysterious beauty of the sound world of Kosovo and Albania and feel commonalities with the grandiose guitarist Tringa Sadiku. The foreign, borders lose their separative quality, what remains is the joy of the encounter and also the pleasure in the challenge.

For more than four decades, Aniada a Noar have been a driving force in the “New Folk Music”. Their approach is characterized by elegance, playfulness, and a courage for diversity. In the combination of home sounds and world music influences, a listening experience emerges that feels both familiar and exciting. Hardly anyone has interpreted the credo of Styria - airer Hanns Koren musically better: “Home is depth, not narrowness” (Michael Tschida, Kleine Zeitung) Tringa Sadiku studied classical guitar in  Mitrovica, Prishtina and Graz. She has performed at renowned festivals and concert series, including the Akademia Gitary Festival (Poland), the Berlin Guitar Festival, ReMusica, the Chopin Piano Festival, the DAM Festival, the Manifesta Biennale, as well as the closing concert of the 2020/21 season of the Kosovo Philharmonic. Her artistic work combines a solid classical education with a great openness to new musical forms of expression.

A particular focus of her work is on the reinterpretation and arrangement of Albanian folk music from various regions. This passion is also reflected in her latest album Hape Portën, which she released together with the singer Agona Shporta. In addition to her work as a soloist, Tringa Sadiku can regularly be experienced in various chamber music and ensemble formations and impresses with her stylistic versatility as well as her expressive musicality.

Wolfgang Moitz: vocals, flutes, piffero, bagpipes, glockenspiel
