Adventkranzsegnung und Lichterentzuündung
Sa., 28.11.2026 from 18:30 o'clock
Candlelight and festive light glow – in Freiland, the Advent season is welcomed with a cheerful custom.
In Freiland the beginning of Advent is celebrated in twofold way. The contemplative start is marked by the traditional Advent wreath blessing in the parish church, which invites everyone to pause together.
Afterwards, the lighting of the Christmas tree in the town center creates a special moment when the Christmas tree first shines in festive splendor. A beautiful beginning to Advent that connects tradition, community, and Christmas anticipation.
