An Advent calendar in the middle of Deutschlandsberg!

During the Advent season, the shop windows of the city center of Deutschlandsberg once again transform into a very special Advent calendar. Day by day, a new, lovingly designed Advent window opens, inviting visitors to discover something new while taking a cozy stroll through the town.

The creative and diverse designs are provided by kindergarten children, students, local artists, and dedicated business people. Some window openings are additionally accompanied by a small supporting program, creating special pre-Christmas moments.

The traditional conclusion is marked by the opening of the 24th Advent window during the nativity celebration at 4:00 p.m. in the parish church of Deutschlandsberg.

A festive Advent custom that illuminates the city center and accompanies young and old through the pre-Christmas season!

Christmas Tour through the City Center

Another highlight, especially for the little visitors, is the popular Christmas tram. On the Advent weekends, it makes its rounds through the festively decorated city center, bringing bright eyes to children. A cozy ride where Deutschlandsberg shows its particularly Christmas side!
