After her highly acclaimed debut "Windschatten" (October 2024) – awarded with two Amadeus-Award nominations, the Hubert von Goisern Culture Prize 2024, and an ARTE-TRACKS portrait – the Austrian musician Anna Buchegger is releasing her second album "Soiz".
With "Soiz," Buchegger opens the next chapter. She remains true to the dialect as an artistic statement and confronts alpine tradition with self-irony, a feminist stance, and an avant-garde sound language. Between couture and traditional attire, a fictional character emerges that does not preserve homeland but critically questions it. The album reached as high as number 6 in the Austrian monthly album charts, was nominated for three Austrian Amadeus Music Awards, and marks the beginning of an intensive live phase with over 50 shows in 2026.
