Herbert Prohaska is celebrating his 70th birthday with a talk & live concert ON THE RED CHAIR!
Bernhard Egger – Host of the talk series "On the Red Chair" – chats with "Schneckerl" Prohaska about music, important stages in his exciting life, and – of course – football. It will be entertaining, profound, offensive, and surprising, as Herbert Prohaska also takes to the singing microphone. Supported by Vienna singer Pete Art and band with Bernhard Egger on drums, a party is guaranteed.
Austropop meets Italy, Italy meets Rock'n Roll.
The festival is round and lasts more than 90 minutes.
"On the Red Chair" – the talk series founded and hosted by Bernhard Egger – repeatedly ventures from its digital version on Youtube into the world of live performances. These combine talk and live music, and the guest list of past shows is impressive: Willi Resetarits, Conchita Wurst, Thomas Stipsits, Hans Theessink, Alex Kristan, Katharina Straßer, Peter Rapp, Roland Düringer, Hans Krankl, and Gery Seidl.
Since February 2024, the format has also been running on ORF III.
