Ehrenhausen an der Weinstraße

One of the oldest cement works in Austria, an important economic engine in the wine and tourism region, showcases the production of high-quality standard cements as well as innovative specialty types.

Experience tours at the Retznei cement plant provide fascinating insights into modern cement production. Impressive facilities such as the large ball mill, as well as the processes of cement manufacturing and transport logistics, are vividly presented.

Tours take place from Monday to Friday by prior arrangement for groups of 10 or more. Sturdy, closed-toed footwear, as well as helmets and safety vests, are required for participation. Tours are suitable for children aged 8 and above. Pets are not allowed on the tour.
