Weingut Gründl vulgo Stefflbauer

Two wine cellars are housed in the Gründl winery headquarters in Lind-St. Veit am Vogau. One is the press house with an adjoining stainless steel tank cellar, the other is a wine cellar with large wooden barrels, French barriques and stainless steel tanks. The vinification of white wines in stainless steel tanks has played a significant role in the development of Austrian viticulture.

Winemaker and cellar master Martin Gründl presses wines with enormous, fruit-emphasised radiance, which expressively document their origin. Classically dry, full-bodied, juicy, rich in extract with refined elegance or characterised by terroir with a delicately salty minerality and drinkable roundness - they are all delicious, multi-award-winning recommendations for this traditional winery.
