Our wines and distillates are the result of genuine craftsmanship and pure passion. From the vine to the glass, we accompany every step to give you unique moments of enjoyment.

We, Helene and Manfred, are now running the family business in the third generation. Our winery is beautifully located directly on the South Styrian Wine Road in the heart of Southern Styria. From a mixed agricultural enterprise, it developed into a winery with almost 10 hectares of vineyards on the two excellent sites Karnerberg and Hoch Pößnitzberg.
The site Karnerberg belongs to the local wine district Eichberg. On very steep slopes, fruit-driven Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat grapes grow on sandy and gravelly soils with a typical acidity.
The site Hoch Pößnitzberg is located in the local wine district Leutschach. The soil there is very heavy and clayey. The subsoil consists of the well-known Opok, which provides an excellent terroir for powerful Sauvignon Blanc.
Only grapes from our own vineyards are used for our fruity classic wines, the robust local wines, and the cellar-worthy vineyard wines!

A small wine tavern is ready to let you taste our excellent wines. The direct sale from the winery is also important to ensure that you always have a few bottles of Birnstingl wine stored at home.
