The Roman Catholic parish church of Maria Osterwitz is surrounded by an old church wall in a beautiful mountain location in Osterwitz in the municipality of Deutschlandsberg in the district of Deutschlandsberg in Styria. The parish church and pilgrimage church dedicated to the Painful Mother of God belonged to the Dean's Office of Deutschlandsberg in the Diocese of Graz-Seckau until the end of August 2018, since the dean's office was abandoned, it has been in the pastoral area of Southwest Styria. The church is a listed building.
Late Gothic building from the early 16th century at 1145m above sea level with a beautiful view of the country. Every 13th in the month of May-September Fatima pilgrimage.
Heilbrunnen Frauenbründl
At the entrance to Osterwitz, a shrine from the 18th century located in stone foundation with healing spring, which according to legend can cure eye diseases.
Open to the public - All year round.
