The Deutschlandsberg town winery is located in the middle of the Schilcher vineyards.
This property belonged to the Archbishop of Salzburg from the 13th century to the 15th century. From the 15th century, the Bishop of Lavant owned the site. The property has been owned by the municipality of Deutschlandsberg since 1917.
