Nepomuk Statue auf der Johannesbrücke in Arnfels
Arnfels
The listed road bridge with the statue of St. John Nepomuk (according to the chronogram from 1706) leads over the Pößnitzbach stream and is also a symbol on the Arnfels hiking trail signs.
The statue of St John Nepomuk is a listed Baroque statue of a saint from the middle of the 18th century.
St Nepomuk is therefore considered a "bridge saint". Legend has it that he refused to break the seal of confession: He did not want to reveal to the king what his wife had confessed to him.
