In the center of the picturesque village of St. Catherine in the Wiel stands the beautiful mountain church with a fantastic view all the way to the Slovenian border.

The small parish church in the idyllic mountain village of St. Catherine in the Wiel was built as early as the 15th century. The interior is probably from the 17th/18th century.

You can reach the small mountain village not only by car or bicycle. You can also get to St. Katharina in der Wiel via the adventure trail "Hans-Kloepfer-Weg" to marvel at the "captured Russ" as well as the parish church.
