The Celtic watchtower is part of a historic fortification, built for the defense of settlements and strategically important points.
It is closely connected to the region and encompasses several historical aspects. The tower was presumably built in the 12th century and served as the outer fortress of the Lords of Leibnitz. The tower is an important part of the history of the town of Leibnitz. Elevation: 845m
The “Blickwechsel-Tour” combines cycling and hiking and leads to impressive lookout towers with spectacular panoramic views.
The watchtower is freely accessible.
