Kapelle Obervogau
Straß in Steiermark
The local chapel "Maria Schnee" in Obervogau belongs to the parish of St. Veit am Vogau and was probably built in the 19th century. It houses a baroque altar with representations of Saints Leonard and Florian, as well as a miraculous image of the Mother of God "Maria Schnee." The chapel was restored in the 1970s and during the local image renewal in the 1990s and is an example of the typical village chapels in the region.
