Heilquelle Bad Sauerbrunn
Stainz
"Bad Sauerbrunn" is the name given to the fountain system from which the water of the Erzherzog-Johann spring flows. The spring water in the Sauerbrunngraben was already known in ancient times for its therapeutic effects!
After the village of Marhof, a municipal road leads along the Stainzbach, passing some houses. From here, it is about 500 meters to the gravel parking lot of Bad Sauerbrunn. A lovingly maintained small park with the Kneipp basin of healing water is located in the immediate vicinity of the Stainzbach.
Bad Sauerbrunn was already known to the Romans. The natural carbonic sulfur bath has healing effects for rheumatism and circulatory diseases.
Drinking and bathing water (dilute 1:1) is available for free collection!
