For inexperienced hikers you can comfortably walk in the direction of wind turbines and arrive after about 1km to the cottage. The hut is open both summer and winter (restricted). There are countless hiking trails in all directions for long and short distances. From now on, guests can use the curling rink in winter, which can be used as a natural bowling alley in summer, and a natural toboggan run.
Highligt of the Almsommers is the traditional wind turbine deadline in mid-August.

The hiking trails for long hikes and hikes lead or intersect in the immediate vicinity of our hut. Just a few minutes' walk away is the Freiländeralm wind park for some quiet and relaxing hours in the Alm region.
In the winter months, the winter hiking offers, as the paths are cleared in the immediate vicinity. Here you can then use short distances for a trip to the snow.
