Behind the historically valuable name is the only winegrowers' association in Styria, which is now made up of around 250 grape partners from all Styrian winegrowing regions. Together, these partly very small businesses cultivate an area of around 180 hectares of vineyards. This makes Erzherzog Johann Weine one of the most important wineries in "wine" Styria.
Our vinotheque is located directly at the gateway to the South Styrian Wine Route, take a trip and book one of our wine experiences!
Tasting and guided tour:
- Reception under the Archduke Johann hat.
- "Walk into the Nannerl Gwölb" and insight into the life of Archduke Johann & Anna Plochl.
- Tour of the vineyard and walk around the hat
- Traditional cellar tour
- Wine dome
- Wine tasting in the wine dome or in the "Nannerl Gwölb" (4 wines, 1 sparkling wine)
We are closed on Sundays and holidays.
