The Trapls have been based in St. Stefan ob Stainz for 400 years. The family's vineyards have been located in this picturesque landscape of western Styria for centuries. The house name Trapl was first mentioned in a document in 1572, and the vineyard has been owned by the Oswald family since 1765. Around 240 years of viticultural history, which the Trapl house proudly makes use of.

Since the summer of 2015, his nephew Fabian has been working diligently at the winery, inspiring with his enthusiasm and love of wine.
