Bärenhof Berghausen
Ehrenhausen an der Weinstraße
The Bärenhof Berghausen is a long-standing animal welfare project on the South Styrian Wine Road that provides a species-appropriate home for brown bears from Europe and Asia.
The Bear Park Berghausen on the South Styrian Wine Road offers brown bears from Europe and Asia a safe and species-appropriate home. The animals, who often have difficult life histories, can enjoy peace, space, and comprehensive care here. In addition to the bears, other animals such as goats, bison, peacocks, and Mangalitza pigs live on the premises. The enclosures are continuously expanded and improved, with professional care and dedicated support ensuring the well-being of the animals.
The Bear Park is a popular destination for families and nature lovers, combining animal observation with the picturesque surroundings of South Styria. Culinary needs are also catered to, making a visit in summer or autumn a special experience.
