Bäckerei & Café Altenburger

St. Veit in der Südsteiermark

Baking like back then, honest handcraft, without any additives. Just time and love - results in taste. Do something good for yourself!

With the return of an old acquaintance who had run a bakery in Italian-speaking Switzerland for over 20 years, I decided to take over my parents' business. Our main focus was on developing a new concept. We completely do without chemicals and other additives and simply give the dough time and rest. And the taste proved us right.
