From the observation platform Buchenberg, you have a magnificent panoramic view over the Graz basin and Leibnitzer Feld.
The viewing platform on the Buchenberg can be reached by car either from the municipality of Sankt Oswald or the municipality of Wies via Wernersdorf and is a fixed waypoint along the Koralpenlauf theme hiking trail. From the beautifully designed wooden platform you have a fantastic view of the Graz basin and the Leibnitzer Feld. A place that invites you to linger and where you can virtually "breathe in" the scenic diversity and beauty of the region.
How to get there: From the village of Sankt Oswald you have to take a sharp right at the first entrance, then always follow the signs of the Koralpenlaufweg until you reach the platform.
