St. Stefan ob Stainz
Augustini wine - the DAC local and Riedenwein, which was allowed to mature longer!
In August, everything in Stainz and St. Stefan ob Stainz revolves around the Augustini wines, origin Weststeiermark DAC, with wine festivals and the "Long Wine Table" at the main square of Stainz, as well as culinary hiking tours. The wines are bottled by nine winemakers at the end of June or beginning of July. Due to the longer storage time, the optimal maturation of the wines – from Schilcher to Muscat and Sauvignon to Morillon and Riesling – is ensured.
