Aspalt stick shooting:
A team usually consists of four players, with each player having one attempt per round. The goal is to bring a stick of the own team in best position (i.e. closer to the stave than the opponent). Only sticks that are within the target area are scored.

History:
The first images of curling come from Holland, as well as from the Alpine region of the 16th century. The first clubs were founded before 1900
