Welcome to the winery Deutschmann vlg Smonde
The love and passion for traditional viticulture was discovered in our family back in 1693.
Since then, viticulture has been very important to us for over 330 years.
The Deutschmann winery is located in the heart of southern Styria, directly on the South Styrian Wine Route.
The soils and climate that influence our quality wines are as diverse as the grape varieties.
The top location, Oberglanz,, is one of the most famous locations in southern Styria, where high-quality vines grow and thrive on slate, sand and gravel soils.
In 2016, the business was transferred from father Otmar to son and winemaker Markus Deutschmann, who has turned his passion into his profession.
The grapes are harvested by hand with great care, processed and accompanied through to bottling.
Intensive manual work and sensitivity on each vine are the key to our first-class Deutschmann wine.
We attach great importance to regional and homemade products.
We are happy to spoil you in our Buschenschank with a traditional Styrian snack, rounded off with excellent wines and our own brandies.
If you would like to stay with us for longer, guest rooms are available on request.
Our 4 comfortable double rooms are equipped with an integrated bath and shower, satellite TV and some have a balcony.
In the morning after waking up you will be spoiled by us with a rich breakfast, which you can use from 7.30 am to 10.00 am.
Parking spaces are available free of charge
Our wine and brandy shop is open all day, where you are welcome to purchase a "good drop" to take home with you on your departure.
Our winery is located directly on the Culinary Vineyard Hiking Trail in Glanz an der Weinstraße.
You can reach numerous wineries, wine taverns and restaurants.

Cancellation conditions:
Cancellations more than 7 days before your arrival are free of charge.
Should you unexpectedly not be able to take your vacation with us, we will charge you a cancellation fee of 50% if you cancel less than 7 days before arrival.
