Welcome to our holiday complex in the cozy town of Arnfels, where you can spend a relaxing yet active vacation with your loved ones or friends.
We are centrally located in the beautiful South Styria. Our vineyards are therefore reachable within a few minutes.
The four holiday houses were completed at the end of the year 2023 and are located in the center of the community of Arnfels.
One holiday house offers space for up to a maximum of 7 adults or 8 people (6 adults & 2 children).
On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with a bed (120 x 200 cm) for a maximum of 2 children or 1 adult, as well as a general bathroom with a shower and a toilet.
Attached to the bathroom is a storage room which includes a washing machine with an integrated dryer, vacuum cleaner, drying rack, laundry basket, and other cleaning utensils.
On the upper floor, there are two ensuite bathrooms (shower & bathtub), as well as a separate communal toilet. When fully occupied, the sofa in the living and dining area is converted into a sofa bed (space for 2 persons).
Our kitchens are fully equipped (induction cooktop, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator & freezer combination, microwave, wine cooler (wines can be taken for a fee), kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, handheld mixer, and contact grill). Pans, pots, glasses, cutlery, and other cooking equipment will also be provided for you.
Each holiday house has a fireplace, air conditioning, a pool that can be used year-round (not heated in winter), as well as a private barbecue area with a fire pit.
The pool can be heated upon request for a daily fee. The pool & lounge area, as well as the barbecue area with a fire pit, have been provided with a reclaimed wood privacy fence. In the courtyard, there is a communal sauna facility with shower & drinking fountain. A carport with two parking spaces is included in the price for each holiday house.
A wall box is also available, which can be used for a fee.
If breakfast baskets are desired, they will be delivered to your house between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. This must be communicated in writing at the time of booking. In the case of intolerances, allergies, or other dietary requirements (vegetarian, etc.), we ask for timely notification.
Information about the area
We have many hiking opportunities in the surrounding area (Altenbach and Heiligengeist gorges, Remschnigg Alm, Kreuzbergwarte, and many more). Our holiday houses offer direct views of the Castle Arnfels, which is located on the ridge above the market. The castle is currently privately owned and is not available for tours. Our neighboring village, Eichberg-Trautenburg (wine taverns and hiking opportunities), can be reached within 7 driving minutes. Our holiday houses are very centrally located, and the municipality of Leutschach an der Weinstraße can be reached in 6 driving minutes and the municipality of Gamlitz in 18 driving minutes. Our beautiful South Styria is especially known for its very good wine, but did you also know that we grow hops and brew beer from it? Due to the special microclimate, a hop of exceptional quality grows here from which the contracting partner Reininghaus brews the special vintage pilsner. In winter, the family ski and snowboard paradise Weinebene can be reached within 45 driving minutes. This is located on the Carinthian-Styrian border. It is an ideal area for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and excursions. Particularly interesting are the tour opportunities to the Hebalm and the Koralpe, as well as the toboggan run.
