Municipality of Rettenegg
RetteneggWelcome to the “Rettenegg power donation village”!
Rettenegg lies at the confluence of the Pfaffenbach and Feistritz rivers. The tranquil village is known as a summer and winter recreation destination, especially for its hiking and ski touring opportunities on the Stuhleck.
The Planet Trail, for example, leads to the summit of the Stuhleck and you can learn a lot about our solar system along the way. Another visitor magnet is the exhibition Labyrinth Man - embark on a journey into yourself!
Swimming fans and water lovers will find plenty to do in Rettenegg in summer, winter and in bad weather at the Köglerbad indoor pool and the natural swimming pond.
Rettenegg is known for its culinary delights at the Forellengasthof Joglland - Austria's largest trout menu awaits you. The other innkeepers in the village will spoil you with traditional Styrian delicacies and home cooking.
In winter there is a small but excellent ski lift in the village.
